I think what I connected with most is the longing for what used to be. Not just missing a person, but missing the closeness, the comfort, and the version of the relationship that once existed.
The line about story likes versus the kind of love that inspires poems and books was especially good. We have so many ways to stay connected now, yet sometimes they only remind us how far apart we really are.
